Financial Advisors: More Than Just Advice.

Many of us turn to financial advisors when we need information about our money, but did you know that you can also ask your advisor about a range of other services too.  Financial advisors are highly trained individuals who keep their eye on the market and stay up to date with trends and new legislation, and that makes them amongst the first stops when you need almost any kind of advice or information on your money.  As well as advising you on investments, financial advisors can;

Demonstrate a range of products.  Your financial advisor will have access to all the best plans and products available from banks, mortgage companies and the Government and be able to confidently give you advice on those, including which are the best products, and how they will affect your finances.

Offer a truly personalised service. There is no such thing as the ‘standard’ customer and financial advisors need to be sufficiently flexible to be able to provide you with holistic planning and assistance in order to help you achieve financial goals. Securing the assistance of a good financial advisor lets you delegate some – and possibly even all – of the duties inherent in managing your finances.  Your financial advisor will take the time to understand your circumstances, and be in a position to offer the best advice to suit you.

Offer proactive support. It isn’t the role of the financial advisor to simply dole out information, get you to sign on the doted line, and walk away.  A good one will not only be with you at all stages of your financial journey, but will also be both knowledgeable and flexible enough to be able to offer new and updated advice should your circumstances change.

Debt management.  If you find yourself in a financially awkward position, your financial advisor will be able to demonstrate a range of debt management plans that will suit your finances and those of your creditors too. The advisor can help you understand your finances and create a suitable plan that allows you to pay off creditors while not dropping lifestyle too much.

Insurance services. Your financial advisor will have a good knowledge of insurance for all of your needs and will be able to point you at the right products for you.  Whether you need life insurance, designed to pay out your dependents a lump sum if you pass away, total and permanent disability insurance, critical illness insurance, or even income protection insurance, there are a vast array of products available and there is one that is right for you.  A good financial advisor will be able to point you to the one for you.

There are many financial advisors available, but we at Grange Mortgages make sure that ours really know the market and get to know you and your needs.  Our advice is impartial and we are available at weekends too, so you can be assured of getting the right advice at a time that is convenient to you.
